i live in ohio what do i do to get a?
what do i do or can do to get a reserved handicap parking place in front of my home i am in a power chair but i use a ramp from my van to go up stairs to get in my home and i need to park in front of my home to do that parking is always full on my street
Your municipality controls parking and if you phoned city hall, would advise what they would require to create a handicapped parking spot in front of your house. Then, you would need an Ohio disability placard displayed in your vehicle to give you the right to park there.
The state of Ohio will issue you a disability placard if you submit a completed application form BMV 4826. It may be submitted at a Deputy Registrar's office or by mail. The website to find information on this and the list of Deputy Registrar office locations is:

Note that other people with disability placards might also park in your spot. You could ask city hall, but there is usually no way of reserving a public parking spot permanently for a private individual. If you want a private spot, you will have to create one on your own property.
